The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Board was created to exercise supervisory
control over the activities of the director and the staff of the Downtown Development Authority.
Twelve (of the fifteen) members of the DDA shall be appointed by the current board of directors of
the DDA and submitted to the City Commission for confirmation. One member may be appointed
by the Board of County Commissioners of Miami -Dade County and submitted to the City
Commission for confirmation. One member may be appointed by the Cabinet of the State and
submitted to the City Commission for confirmation.
• The Commission At Large is being requested to confirm the appointment of the
following members:
1. Philippe Houdard, incumbent, whose term expired on August 31, 2018.
2. T. Spencer Crowley, III (Term 9/1/2019 through 8/31/2022)
3. Franklin Sirmans (Term 9/1/2019 through 8/31/2022)
4. Suzanne M. Amaducci-Adams (Term 9/1/2019 through 8/31/2023)
For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said authority. By copy
of this memorandum, we are requesting that the Agenda Office place this issue on the July 25, 2019,
Commission agenda.
