The Office of the City Manager respectfully requests that the following item be substituted in the July 11,
2019 City Commission agenda: Item PH.9 — Resolution authorizing the permanent restriction of vehicular
access within District 3.
The abovementioned item included a Notice of Public Hearing as an attachment of the agenda packet and
labeled Notice to the Public, which contained the incorrect Title information. Please remove Notice to the
Public and replace with the attached revised Notice of Public Hearing which reflects the correct Title
information.

Request to Publish Notice
of Public Hearing
Please make arrangements to publish a Notice of Public Hearing for a resolution
authorizing and permitting the permanent restriction of vehicular access for Southwest
14th Avenue, Southwest 16th Avenue, and Southwest 16th Court at points
approximately 125 feet south of their respective intersections with Southwest 22nd
Street as well as Southwest 23rd Street at a point approximately 120 feet east of its
intersection vwith Southwest 17th Avenue.
The Public Hearing has been scheduled for July 11, 2019.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE PERMANENT RESTRICTION
OF VEHICULAR ACCESS THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION OF A LANDSCAPE BARRICADE, OTHER
REMOVABLE BOLLARD DEVICE, OR NON -PERMANENT DEVICE AT SOUTHWEST 14TH AVENUE
APPROXIMATELY 125 FEET SOUTH OF SOUTHWEST 22ND STREET, SOUTHWEST 16TH AVENUE
APPROXIMATELY 125 FEET SOUTH OF SOUTHWEST 22ND STREET, SOUTHWEST 16TH COURT
APPROXIMATELY 125 FEET SOUTH OF SOUTHWEST 22ND STREET AND SOUTHWEST 23RD
STREET AT A POINT APPROXIMATELY 120 FEET EAST OF ITS INTERSECTION WITH SOUTHWEST
17TH AVENUE, SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY THE MIAMI-DADE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS TRAFFIC DIVISION AND THE CITY OF MIAMI
DEPARTMENTS OF RESILIENCE AND PUBLIC WORKS, SOLID WASTE, FIRE -RESCUE, AND POLICE;
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO PROVIDE PEDESTRIAN ACCESS AT ALL TIMES THROUGH
THE AFORESAID BARRIERS; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO TRANSMIT A COPY OF THE
RESOLUTION TO THE OFFICIALS NAMED HEREIN.

Administration Division, located at 444 SW 2nd Avenue, 8th Floor, during regular working hours. Phone 305-

The Miami City Commission requests all interested parties be present or represented at the meeting and
may be heard with respect to any proposition before the City Commission in which the City Commission
may take action. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to
any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the
proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S.
286.0105).
