Concerned Leaders of Little Haiti Demands Inclusive Community Development and a
Comprehensive Community Benefits Agreement
Miami, Florida — Concerned Leaders of Little Haiti is a growing coalition that is fighting for
dignity, inclusive community development, and the most vulnerable of Little Haiti. Concerned
Leaders of Little Haiti is made up of business owners, property owners, residents, faith -based
leaders, nonprofit directors and the greater Haitian community. The coalition also
represents thousands of residents, business owners and other stakeholders of Little Haiti.
Concerned Leaders of Little Haiti stands for:
• A Comprehensive Community Benefit Agreement that addresses what matters most:
Affordable Housing, Jobs, Community Economic Development Arts and Culture and
Educational Training
• A meaningful seat at the table in the negotiation of the Magic City Developer Agreement
alongside the Developer and City
• Retain Little Haiti's name within Magic City SAP Project signage and branding
• City Master Plan Study for all of Little Haiti
We support this project with the condition that the community be invited to participate in the
dialogue and negotiate important community concerns within the Developer Agreement
alongside the City and the Developer.
We ask that the City grant us a seat at the table to negotiate and be heard.
