Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable
notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised
of the proposed new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the City program(s) as indicated below: * t t
1. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of CDBG funds in the amount of $150,000.00 to Centro Mater Child
Care Service, Inc. for public service activities.
2. Discussion and proposed resolution amending the City of Miami Housing Program Policies, to include a Right of First Refusal
provision and a general update of the policies to reflect the changing housing market.
3. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of CDBG Economic Development funds in the amount of $1,954,690.00
for economic development activities, to the agencies/department as desbribed below:

* The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution by the City Commission, related to the proposed funding recommendation(s)/
amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Action Plan.
j- This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period
begins, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 and ends Wednesday, January 9, 2019. The proposed funding
recommendation(s)/amendment(s) will be presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, January 10, 2019 (public
hearing).
$ Draft copies will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 14 NE 1
Avenue, 2nd Floor Miami, Florida, 33132. Comments to the amendments must be submitted in writing to: 14 NE 1 Avenue, 2nd
floor, Miami, Florida, 33132: Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than January 9, 2019.
Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. Requests for
special accommodations may be directed to the Department of Housing and Community Development at (305) 416-2080 no less than
three (3) business days prior to the Public Hearing date.
