WHEREAS, Section 101.657, Florida Statutes, provides for early voting in various locations throughout Florida; and WHEREAS, no county, state, or federal elections other than the general municipal election for the City of Miami ("City") are scheduled for November 5, 2019; and WHEREAS, if the City requires a run-off election, it will occur on November 19, 2019; and WHEREAS, no other county, state, or federal elections are scheduled for November 19, 2019; and WHEREAS, Section 100.3605, Florida Statutes, allows for a municipality to conduct early voting at times determined by the municipality so long as the early voting activities do not conflict with the Florida Election Code; and WHEREAS, the City has determined that it is in the best interest of the City and its residents to conduct early voting on the dates and times set forth herein; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Ordinance are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. Early voting in the City for the November 5, 2019 General Municipal Election will be held at the designated sites referenced below on the following dates and times. However, a site(s) may be cancelled by the City Clerk if there is only one (1) candidate. Early Voting Sites for Districts 1, 2, and 4: 1) Allapattah Branch Library 2) Lemon City Branch Library 3) Miami City Hall 4) Shenandoah Branch Library 5) Stephen P.
