Purpose of Item:
To have eight Board and Committee Chairpersons make oral presentations based on
the report sent to the City Manager.
Background Information:
Each year, a set number of boards must make a oral presentation to the City
Commission expanding on their annual report. The report covers several topics, such
as:
Whether the board is serving the purpose for which it was created.
Whether the board is serving current community needs.
A list of accomplishments.
The cost, both direct and indirect, of maintaining the board.
