A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), ACCEPTING
THE BID RECEIVED APRIL I I, 2016, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BIDS NO, 15-16-020,
FROM LAWN KEEPERS OF SOUTH FLORIDA, INC. (PRIMARY) AND SUPERIOR
LANDSCAPING & LAWN SERVICE, INC. (SECONDARY), THE RESPONSIVE AND
RESPONSIBLE BIDDERS, FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED "SW 8 STREET 'CALLE OCHO'
LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT, M-01 12", FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR, WITH
THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR FOUR (4) ADDITIONAL ONE (1) YEAR PERIODS, IN AN
ANNUAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $190,979.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, FOR SAID PURPOSE;
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID OPTIONS TO RENEW, IN
A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF
FUNDING AND THE CONTRACTOR'S PERFORMANCE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section I. The bid received April 1 1, 2016, pursuant to Invitation for Bids No, 15-16-020, from Lawn Keepers of South
Florida. Inc, (Primary) and Superior Landscaping & Lawn Service, Inc. (Secondary), the responsive and responsible bidders,
for the project entitled "SW 8 Street 'Calle Ocho' Landscape Maintenance Contract, M-0112", for a period of one (I) year,
with the option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) year periods, in an annual amount not to exceed $ 190,979.00, is
accepted, subject to the availability of funding and the contractor's performance.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized ; l 1 to execute a Contract, in substantially the attached form, for said purpose.
Section 3. The City Manager is further authorized 111 to exercise the four (4) additional one (l) year options to renew,
subject to the availability of funding and the contractor's performance, for said purpose.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor. 121
