Type: Resolution
Subject: Execute Amendment No. 1 - Architectural Services for Misc. Projects
Purpose of Item:
The purpose of this item is to authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1
to the Agreements with Alleguez, Carty, Chisholm, Diaz Carreno Scotti, Ferguson
Glasgow Schuster Soto, Gurri Matute, Leo A. Daly, MC Harry, Rodriguez Quiroga, and
Wolfberg Alvarez, for the provision of Architectural Services for Miscellaneous Projects,
increasing the authorized Compensation Limit by an amount not -to -exceed $500,000,
respectively, for a total amount not -to -exceed $1,000,000 each. Funds are to be
allocated from the corresponding capital improvement projects and departmental
budgets, for said purposes.
Background of Item:
On April 12, 2018, pursuant to City of Miami ("City") Procurement Code Section 18-87,
Request for Qualification ("RFQ") 16-17-057, the City Manager authorized the execution
of Agreements with Alleguez, Carty, Chisholm, Diaz Carreno Scotti, Ferguson Glasgow
Schsuter Soto, Gurri Matute, Leo A. Daly, MC Harry, Rodriguez Quiroga, and Wolfberg
Alvarez, for the provision of Architectural Services for Miscellaneous Projects, in an

Said firms are actively rendering professional consulting services on several City
projects, which require the continuation of design and construction administration
services. However, the existing Compensation Limit, for each firm, is not sufficient to
address the costs associated with the outstanding and foreseeable future design and
construction administration assignments.
Therefore, it is in the best interest of the City to enter into Amendment No. 1 to the
Agreements with said firms, increasing the Compensation Limit by an amount not to
exceed $500,000, respectively, for a total amount not to exceed $1,000,000 each.
Funds are to be allocated from the appropriate capital improvement projects and
departmental budgets.
