Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable
notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised
of the proposed new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the City program(s) as indicated below: *t t
1. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of Program Income from CDBG funds generated from February 1 to
September 30, 2018 in the amount of $484,492.21 for eligible housing and economic development activities.
2. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing an amendment of the City of Miami Economic Development Loand funds program
policies.
* The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution by the City Commission, related to the proposed funding recommendation(s)/
amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Action Plan.
t This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period
begins, Tuesday, October 16, 2018 and ends Wednesday, November 14, 2018. The proposed funding
recommendation(s)/amendment(s) will be presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, November 15, 2018 (public
hearing).
$ Draft copies will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 14 NE 1
Avenue, 2nd Floor Miami, Florida, 33132. Comments to the amendments must be submitted in writing to: 14 NE 1 Avenue, 2nd
floor, Miami, Florida, 33132: Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than November 14, 2018.
Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. Requests for
special accommodations may be directed to the Department of Housing and Community Development at (305) 416-2080 no less than
three (3) business days prior to the Public Hearing date.

The City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at
9:00 a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to
comment on funding amendments affecting the City's Annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development
(HUD) programs. The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at:
www.miamigov.com/communitvdevelopment.
The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City
