A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT ("CBA")
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI AND THE EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATION
KNOWN AS THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE, WALTER E. HEADLEY,
JR., MIAMI LODGE NO. 20, FOR THE PERIOD OF OCTOBER 1, 2018
THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2021; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE CBA, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The collective bargaining agreement ("CBA") between the City of Miami
and the employee organization known as the Fraternal Order of Police, Walter E. Headley, Jr.,
Miami Lodge No. 20, for the period of October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2021 is approved
subject to ratification by the respective union.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the CBA, in substantially the
attached form.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor.'

1 If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
