The Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science was created seek the educational, scientific and
charitable objectives which are set forth in the articles of incorporation of the Museum and which are
set forth from time to time by action of the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees shall be
comprised of not less than 15 members and not more than 30 members, together with any ex officio
members. Three (3) members are appointed by the City of Miami. One (1) member shall be the City
Commissioner representing the City Commission District embracing the Museum and two (2)
members shall be appointed by the Commission -At -Large.
One (1) appointment is required at this time.
• Commission -At -Large has one (1) nomination for a seat currently held by:
1. Sandra Forges, incumbent, whose term expires on October 13, 2018.
For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said board. By copy of
this memorandum to the Agenda Office, we are requesting that this issue be placed on the October
11, 2018, Commission agenda.
