A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING THE MODIFICATION OF THE 2019 - 2022 COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
AGREEMENT ("CBA") BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI AND THE EMPLOYEE
ORGANIZATION KNOWN AS THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF
FIREFIGHTERS, AFL-CIO, LOCAL 587; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE CBA, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The attached modification to the 2019 — 2022 Collective Bargaining
Agreement ("CBA") between the City of Miami and the employee organization known as the
International Association of Firefighters, AFL-CIO, Local 587, is approved subject to ratification
by the respective union.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the CBA, in substantially the
attached form.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor.

1 If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
