OFFICE OF THE CITY ATTORNEY
MEMORANDUM
TO: Todd B. Hannon, City Clerk
FROM: Victoria Mendez, City Attornee, 49-2,
DATE: September 4, 2020
RE: Resolution No. 18-0423 - Approve Annual Budget FY '19 - GESE Trust
Excess Benefit Plan
File No. 4592
At its September 27, 2018 meeting, the City Commission adopted the above referenced
agenda item, BH.8, approving the annual budget for the City of Miami General Employees' &
Sanitation Employees' Excess Benefit Plan for Fiscal Year 2018-2019. The item should have
been adopted with modifications because the legislation contained a blank. The Legislation has
been corrected and incremented to Revision B to include the amount of $112,477.00 in the blank.
Furthermore, due to a glitch in the legislative platform, the previous version of the file
that was part of the September 27, 2018 City Commission meeting agenda packet was
incorrectly identified as the original version instead of Revision A as the file should have been
identified to reflect changes made after the item was deferred at the September 13, 2018 meeting.
The legislative printout has been corrected in the footer to reflect Revision A.
