Further authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute all other documents, including any amendments, renewals, and extensions, subject to allocations, appropriations and budgetary approval having been previously made, and in compliance with applicable provisions of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, ("City Code"), including, the City of Miami's Procurement Ordinance, Anti - deficiency Act, and Financial Integrity Principles, all as set forth in Chapter 18 of the City Code, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, and in compliance with applicable regulations, as may be necessary for said purpose. Background of Item: The City of Miami ("City") has identified a need for plumbing maintenance and repair services at Police facilities. On June 1, 2018, the Department of Procurement ("Procurement") issued IFB No. 881381, for Plumbing Maintenance and Repair Services at Police Facilities. As required by the Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised and issued online. On June 26, 2018, at the bid closing, one (1) bid was received. Procurement is recommending award to Pipeline Plumbing Services of Broward, Inc., which met all requirements, per bid specifications. The estimated contract amount is $32,000 annually, approximately $160,000 for the five (5) years in the aggregate, on an as needed and/or emergency basis. WHEREAS, The Miami Police Department ("Police") has a need for plumbing maintenance and repair services; and WHEREAS, on June 1, 2018, the Department of Procurement ("Procurement") issued Invitation for Bid ("IFB") No. 881381 to establish a contract for plumbing maintenance and repair services at Police facilities on an as needed/emergency basis; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The bid received June 26, 2018, pursuant to IFB No. 881381, to provide plumbing maintenance and repair services at Police facilities from Pipeline Plumbing Services of Broward, Inc., a Florida profit corporation, the sole responsive and responsible bidder, on an as- needed/emergency basis, for an initial period of three (3) years, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods, is accepted. Section 3. Funds to be allocated from the Police Department Account No. 00001.191501.546000, and other sources of funds, subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need. Section 4. The City Manager is authorized1 to negotiate and execute all other documents, including any amendments, renewals, and extensions, subject to allocations, appropriations, and budgetary approval having been previously made, and in compliance with applicable provisions of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, ("City Code"), including, the City of Miami's Procurement Ordinance, Anti -Deficiency Act, and Financial Integrity Principles, all as set forth in Chapter 18 of the City Code, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, and in compliance with applicable regulations, as may be necessary for said purpose. Section 5. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission or upon the effective date stated herein, whichever is later.
