Hannon City Clerk Sandra Harris Deputy Director Resiliency and Public Works Department DATE : May 30, 2018 FILE : SUBJECT : Request to Publish Notice Beach Connector Trolley Route REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES: Please make arrangements to publish the attached Notice of Public Hearing regarding the addition of the Beach Connector Trolley to the City's Miami Trolley System that would connect with the City's Biscayne Trolley in the Midtown and Design District areas. The new circulator would make connectivity from the Biscayne, Allapattah and Wynwood Trolley routes to the new Beach Connector Trolley in the areas of Downtown and Miami Beach traveling along major arterials such as Biscayne Boulevard, Northeast 15th Street, MacArthur Causeway, and Alton Road. APPROVED BY: Anna Medina Agenda Coordinator CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC The Miami City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, June 14, 2018 beginning at 9:00 A.M. regarding the addition of the Beach Express Trolley to the City's Miami Trolley System. The new circulator would make connectivity from the existing Biscayne and Coral Way Trolley routes to the new Beach Express Trolley, traveling within the areas of Downtown and Miami Beach along major arterials such as Biscayne Boulevard, MacArthur Causeway, and Alton Road. The Public Hearing will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled City Commission meeting of June 14, 2018 at Miami City Hall located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, 33133 The Miami City Commission requests all interested parties be present or represented at the meeting and may be heard with respect to any proposition before the City Commission in which the City Commission may take action. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105). In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City Clerk at (305) 250-5361 (Voice) no later than five (5) business days prior to the proceeding.
