No.: TBD State Road No.: 9251 NW 3rd Ct County: Miami -Dade Parcel No.: 100 Dear Mr.Maichel: The Florida Department of Transportation is planning improvements along State Road 9251 NW 3rd Ct and NW 3rd Ave from NW 1st Street to NW 8th Street. The project will consist of the repaving and restriping of the roadway, reconstructing and providing pedestrian ramps, enhancing sidewalks and guardrails, upgrading traffic and pedestrian signals and signage, as well as installing bicycle lane signing and markings. The Department has identified the above referenced Parcel 100 to be owned by City of Miami Department of P&D Asset Management Division as discovered by our Right of Way Engineering Department. The Department of Transportation requires this parcel to construct the expansion of State Road 925 / NW 3rd CT project. Pursuant to Section 337.25, Florida Statutes, the Florida Department of Transportation (Department) may accept donations of any land. FDOT PROJECT FACT SHEET FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT SIX State Road (SR) 925/NW 3 Court and NW 3 Avenue From NW 1 Street to NW 8 Street Project Identification Number: 429300-4-52-01 The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway safety project along SR 925/NW 3 Court and NW 3 Avenue from NW 1 Street to NW 8 Street, in Miami -Dade County. PROJECT DETAILS MUNICIPALITIES IN PROJECT AREA • Repaving and restriping the roadway City of Miami • Reconstructing and providing pedestrian ramps • Enhancing sidewalks and guardrails POSSIBLE EFFECTS DURING CONSTRUCTION • Upgrading traffic and pedestrian signals and Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of signage construction on the community. • Installing bicycle lane signing and markings ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $4.4 million PROJECT DATES Work is expected to begin December 2019 and last about eight months. Please note that the construction dates are subject to change. MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC Temporary lane closures during non -peak hours will have minimal effects on traffic.
