This will save the City on supplement costs moving forward and will create a nice fluid code. 3) All supplement numbers are removed at the bottom of the page making the Code Book look cleaner. 4) A republished Code Book will allow Municode to reset the supplement numbers to Supplement No. 1 making it easier to track future supplements used to amend the Code Book. Background of Item: The current Code Book dates back to 1996 and has been updated with 66 supplements. When reformatting the Code Book, pages are recomposed and repaginated to eliminate short pages, pages with blank backs and oddly numbered (point) pages. The preliminary pages and the index are also updated during the process. Following the re - composition, the entire Code Book is reprinted in a format designed for consistency and easy readability and supplement number designations start over with Supplement No. 1. Code Book republications ensure that all hard copies of the City Code are complete, accurate and up to date.
