Hannon City Clerk Date: May 14, 2018 Subject: Off -Street Parking Board References: Agenda for May 24, 2018 Enclosures: List of Members and Employment Restriction Form The Off -Street Parking Board was created to operate, manage and control the off-street parking facilities of the city and all properties pertaining thereto. Pursuant to Section 23(a) of the Charter, members shall reside or have principal place of business in Miami, but no officer or employee of the City shall serve as a member. The City Commission confirms appointments made by Off - Street Parking Board. One (1) Employment waiver is required as of this time: • Larry Spring, confirmed by the Commission on April 12, 2018, a full-time employee for North Miami and a City resident, requires a waiver of the employment restriction of Section 2-884(e) by a 4/5ths affirmative vote of the Commission. For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said board. By copy of this memorandum to the Agenda Office, we are requesting that this issue be placed on the May 24, 2018, Commission agenda.
