BACKGROUND:
On September 19, 2017, Procurement issued RFP No. 763388, under full and open competition
to obtain the services of an experienced and qualified proposer for the purpose of providing
stormwater pump station maintenance and repair services. On October 10, 2017, two (2)
proposals were received. One proposal was deemed non -responsive due to an inability to provide
a required license. An Evaluation Committee completed the review and evaluation of the sole
responsive proposal and determined that Condo Electric was a qualified, responsive, and
responsible proposer.
Subsequently, the negotiations team met with Condo Electric on February 14, 2018 to conduct
negotiations of a contract. As a result of negotiations, the City realized a savings of 33% or
$454,675.00 from the firm's proposed price of $1,399,565.00. Consequently, approval of the
recommendation to award is requested.
