("Condo Electric"), the qualified, responsive, and responsible proposer, pursuant to Request For Proposal ("RFP") No. 763388 for Citywide Stormwater Pump Station Maintenance and Repair Services, for a period of three (3) years, with the option to renew for two (2) additional two (2) year periods, allocating funds from the Public Works Department, subject to the availability of funds and budget approval at the time of need. Authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute all other documents, including any amendments, renewals, and extensions, subject to allocations, appropriations and budgetary approval having been previously made, and in compliance with applicable provisions of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, ("City Code"), including, the City of Miami's procurement ordinance, anti -deficiency act, and financial integrity principles, all as set forth in Chapter 18 of the City Code, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, and in compliance with applicable regulations, as may be necessary for said purpose. Background of Item: On September 19, 2017, the Department of Procurement ("Procurement") issued RFP No. 763388 — Citywide Stormwater Pump Station Maintenance and Repair Services (the "Project") under full and open competition. Proposers were required to meet all of the minimum qualification requirements established in the RFP in order to be deemed responsive and responsible to provide the services. On October 10, 2017, two (2) proposals were received in response to the RFP. Only one was deemed responsive. The Evaluation Committee ("Committee") appointed by the City Manager met on December 19, 2017, and evaluated the sole responsive proposal. Pursuant to the RFP requirement, the Committee recommended that Procurement negotiate and execute and Agreement with Condo Electric. Procurement hereby recommends award of the contract to Condo Electric. Total cost of the Project is estimated to be $944,890.00 annually ($6,614,230.00 in the aggregate). WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works ("Public Works") has a need for stormwater pump station maintenance and repair services; and WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") issued Request for Proposals ("RFP") No. 763388 to establish a Citywide contract for stormwater pump station maintenance and repair services on an as -needed contractual basis for an initial term of three (3) years with two (2) additional two (2) year options to renew; and WHEREAS, proposals were received October 10, 2017 pursuant to RFP No. 763388 and responsive and responsible proposer Condo Electric Motor Repair Corp., a Florida profit corporation ("Condo Electric") is recommended for the award; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The proposals received October 10, 2017 pursuant to RFP No. 763388 from Condo Electric, the responsive and responsible proposer, recommended for award to provide Citywide stormwater pump station maintenance and repair services on an as -needed contractual basis for an initial term of three (3) years with two (2) additional two (2) year options to renew is accepted. Section 3. The City Manager is authorized' to execute the negotiated PSA, in substantially the attached form, with Condo Electric with funds allocated from Public Works, subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval, at the time of need. Section 4. The City Manager is further authorized' to negotiate and execute all other documents, including any amendments, renewals, and extensions, subject to allocations, appropriations and budgetary approval having been previously made, and in compliance with applicable provisions of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended ("City Code"), including the City of Miami's Procurement Ordinance, Anti -Deficiency Act, and Financial Integrity Principles, all as set forth in Chapter 18 of the City Code, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, and in compliance with applicable regulations, as may be necessary for said purpose. Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.2 APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: ndez, City Attor 1 The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to, those prescribed by applicable City Charter and City Code provisions. 2 If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
