HomeMy WebLinkAbout(2681) - PZAB ResolutionCity of Miami PZAB Resolution Enactment Number: PZAB-R-17-056 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miarn , FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File ID: 2681 Final Action Date: 10/4/2017 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI PLANNING, ZONING, AND APPEALS BOARD ("PZAB") NOTIFYING THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION THAT THE PZAB HAS FAILED TO MAKE A RECOMMENDATION REGARDING AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF ORDINANCE NO. 13114, AS AMENDED, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FROM "T4-L TRANSECT ZONE", GENERAL URBAN TRANSECT- LIMITED, TO "T5-O TRANSECT ZONE", URBAN CENTER TRANSECT - OPEN, FOR THE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 3700 SW 28 STREET AND 2810, 2814, 2816, AND 2818 SW 37 AVENUE, MIAMI, FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the properties located at 3700 SW 28 Street and 2810, 2814, 2816, and 2818 SW 28 Street, Miami, Florida ("Properties") are currently located in a "T4-L Transect Zone", General Urban Transect - Limited; and WHEREAS, the applicant proposes to change the zoning to "T5-0 Transect Zone", Urban Center Transect - Open; and WHEREAS, this item was presented to the Planning, Zoning, and Appeals Board ("PZAB") on October 4, 2017; and WHEREAS, after careful consideration of this matter, four (4) members of the PZAB voted in favor of recommending approval of the zoning change as stated herein and four (4) members of the PZAB voted in favor of recommending denial of the zoning change as stated herein; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING, ZONING, AND APPEALS BOARD OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The PZAB has failed to make any findings or conclusions regarding this matter. Section 3.
