A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
PURSUANT TO SECTION 54-58 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT NINE (9) RIGHT-OF-WAY DEEDS AND ONE (1) QUIT
CLAIM RIGHT-OF-WAY DEED OF DEDICATION, AS DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT
"A," ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED ("DEEDS"), FOR HIGHWAY
PURPOSES; FURTHER APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
RECORDATION OF SAID DEEDS IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-
DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA; FURTHER DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO
KEEP COPIES OF SAID DEEDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") Department of Public Works ("Department")
recommends the acceptance of nine (9) Right -of -Way Deeds and one (1) Quit Claim Right -of -
Way Deed of Dedication for the properties described in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated
("Deeds"); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 54-58 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as
amended ("City Code"), the Department finds it is in the best interest of the City to accept the
Deeds for highway purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 54-58 of the City Code, the City Manager is authorized1
and directed to accept the Deeds for highway purposes.
Section 3. The City Commission further approves and authorizes the recordation of said
Deeds in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida.
Section 4. The City Commission further directs that the City Clerk keep copies of said
Deeds.
Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor.2
1 The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed by
the City Attorney, including but not limited to, those prescribed by applicable City Charter and City Code
provisions.

2 If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
