I manage several Smoothie King Franchises in the Miami Area and I am involved with several business ventures throughout the City of Miami. My business ventures, as well as, my volunteer work within the City of Miami have geared me to learn the many facets of this great city. As a business owner, I know the importance of providing great customer service. I try to instill this philosophy in my employees on a daily basis. At times, when an employee is not receptive to the culture I gain to achieve, I have to take a fair and impartial approach to the discipline I will possibly recommend or enforce. Disciplinary situations have led me to understand and obtain a vast knowledge in Employee Labor Laws and the experiences of how to diplomatically handle situations as they are presented to me. 7. Why do you wish to serve on the CIF? (You may attach up to a oil pages response.) My purpose for seeking a position on the Civilian Investigative Panel is to ensure that we maintain nothing but the utmost professionalism from the employees of the great City of Miami. I understand that the police department has to provide a tough work product. The service the men and woman of the Miami Police department provide is both risky and dangerous. I commend every last one of those brave individuals for confronting those dangerous situations head on. I am also well aware of the unfortunate behaviors and mishaps the department has dealt with both in recent years and in its ast history. I believe the C.I.P, is an important component in e_ns_udn.q._lh.at_ the members of Miami Police Department follow their Departmental Guidelines and continue to provide not only excellent law enforcement service, but great customer service as well. As a member of the Civilian Investigative Panel 1 will approach each case with a fair and bias view before stating my opinion or judgment. As a possible future member of the C.f_.h,, ;I feel .that 1;would be an excellent addition and would be honored and privileged to occupy a seat alongside the existing great board members of the panel_ 9+1 :11 !Iv ZZ • iii 1111)7 8.
