Dear Ms. Zamora,
As discussed, Akerman LLP previously represented 2994 NMA Gateway Properties, LLC
(the "Applicant") in submittal of two applications requesting a comprehensive plan amendment for
property located at 28 NW 30th Street (City File ID # 1314) and a rezoning for properties located at
26 - 28 NW 30th Street (City File ID # 1315) (collectively, the "Applications"). At this time, both of
the Applications remain pending. However, Akerman LLP is no longer representing the Applicant
in this matter and is providing the City notice that all communications regarding the Applications
should be sent to the following address from this point forward:

Thank you for the notification. As of when did you cease to be counsel on this application? We have not
received notification from any other firms to state that they are the new representative. Do you know who the
new attorney is that is representing the applicant? If not, then we'll go ahead and contact the applicant to
determine the particulars.

Hello Olga, I have been trying to get in touch with Hearing Boards to discuss a question we have related to two pending
rezoning applications (known as File ID 1314/1315). Our firm no longer represents the property owner that submitted
these applications, but our attorney details remain listed on the applications and we are the primary contact
information the City uses regarding the applications. We need to know the protocol to remove our names as the legal
representative/contact for the applicant.
See attached relevant extracted pages related to the applications for File 1314 and File 1315 and our legal
representation. These application were most recently deferred for a six month period at the May 2017 City Commission
meeting. As you can see, Steven J. Wernick and Nicholas J. Barshel are listed in several places as representing the
applicant, which we need to remove at this time. We have already submitted Notices of Lobbyist Withdrawal to the
clerk's office.
Please confirm the process for removing us from these pending applications, and I can forward you the owner's direct
contact information, which the City should use going forward on any future correspondence related to these two
applications.
