HomeMy WebLinkAboutExhibitATTACHMENT NO.1 BENEFITS FOR EMILIO GONZALEZ TYPE OF BENEFIT PROPOSED BENEFITS EFFECTIVE JANUARY 11, 2018 Salary $265,000.00 annual salary payable bi- weekly - to remain in effect until changed by the City Commission. Car Allowance $800.00 per month. Cellular Phone Allowance $200.00 per month. INSURANCE Health/Vision/Dental Life Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Long Term/Short Term Disability Insurance City paid premium for Executive Benefit Plan. City paid premium for 2X Annual Salary. City paid premium for 2X Annual Salary. City pays 100% of premium. Executive Physical One annual physical. LEAVE TIME Vacation Sick Holidays 20 days per year with a maximum of 15 days to be taken consecutively. 12 days per year. 11 days per year. Upon separation, the City Manager shall receive no payment of any unused Vacation and Sick leave. SEVERANCE The City Manager may be removed pursuant to the process set forth in the City Charter. If the City Manager is removed without cause, he shall receive a fixed sum of compensation and forbearance in an amount equivalent to one month's salary and benefits upon a written release in favor of the City. The City Manager shall not receive any severance if he is terminated for cause, including but not limited to, misconduct, neglect of duty, misfeasance, or malfeasance or if he voluntarily resigns. PENSION The City Manager shall participate in the retirement plan as provided under Section 40-351(1)(d) of the City Code. The City shall contribute at the rate of 20% of the City Manager's annual salary. COLA Same as granted to the members of the classified or unclassified service, whichever is higher.
