The Miami City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, January
11, 2018 at 9:00 A.M., to consider the award of a contract to the non-profit
organization listed below through Anti -Poverty grant funds from the District
5 share of the City of Miami's Anti -Poverty Initiative Program. Martin Luther King
Economic Development Corporation, Wheels to Work Program addresses
transportation issues for low-income City residents by affording them an
opportunity to purchase vehicles at lower interest rates, and to consider the
City Manager's recommendations and finding that competitive negotiation
methods are not practicable or advantageous regarding these issues:

Manager for the Office of Community Investment, Office of the City Manager,

This action is being considered pursuant to Section 18-85 (A) of the Code

resolution and in Code Section 18-85 (A), which are deemed to be incorporated

Said proposed ordinance may be inspected by the public at the Office of

Meeting.
All interested persons are invited to appear at the meeting and may be
heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. Should any person desire
to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter
to be considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim
record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence
upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
