Hannon City Clerk Date: November 3, 2017 Subject: Downtown Development Authority References: Agenda for November 16, 2017 Enclosures: List of members, DDA Resolution and Resume DDA Appointment The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Board was created to exercise supervisory control over the activities of the director and the staff of the Downtown Development Authority. Twelve (of the fifteen) members of the DDA shall be appointed by the current board of directors of the DDA and submitted to the City Commission for confirmation. One member may be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners of Miami -Dade County and submitted to the City Commission for confirmation. One member may be appointed by the Cabinet of the State and submitted to the City Commission for confirmation. • The Commission -At -Large is being requested to confirm the appointment of the following member for a term as specified below: 1. Philippe Houdard (Term: 11/17/17 through 8/31/2018. Serving out remainder of term due to vacancy created by resignation of Jose Goyanes.) For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said authority. By copy of this memorandum, we are requesting that the Agenda Office place this issue on the November 16, 2017, Commission agenda.
