City Manager March 2016 — Present
Serve as the Chief Executive Officer in a Council/Manager form of government of a municipality of 65,000
residents located in the Northeastern corridor of Miami -Dade County. Additionally serve as the Executive
Director of the City's Community Redevelopment Agency.
Finance Director, August 2015 — March 2016
On Contractual Basis serve as the City's Director of Finance. Responsible for supervising professional,
technical, and clerical staff performing general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, treasury
management, and utility billing operations of the City. Develop implement and maintain internal controls
that impact the financial reporting process, and ensure compliance with GASB and GAAP are maintained.
Oversee the annual audit process and ensure audited financial statements are issued in accordance with
local and state statutes. Assist the City Manager on special projects (i.e., union labor negotiations, capital
financing, etc). Serves as the fiduciary of the City's Community Redevelopment Agency and the City's
Pensions.

Director level administrator responsible for oversight, development and management of the Hospital
System's operating and capital budget function. Also responsible for monitoring system wide staffing
productivity. Prepare and present bi-weekly and monthly financial and operating reports to CEO, CFO and
COO. Participate on the labor negotiation team and serve as liaison between the Hospital and budget office
of Miami -Dade County. Project manage special adhoc assignments.

Services Division of the Hospital System. Assist the Corporate Director and Vice President develop and

Chief of Strategic Planning, Budgeting, and Performance, February 2003 — July 2006
Executive level administrator responsible for managing the budget and strategic planning development,
implementation and monitoring processes for the entire municipality. Responsible for guiding the short and
long-range fiscal planning for the municipality and presenting this information to the Mayor and City
Commission for policy consideration and approval. Participate in the labor negotiation process, various
RFP/RFQ evaluation committees, and act as lead administrator on various special projects. Serve as a voting
member of the City's Housing and Loan Committee and ERP Steering Committee. Periodically serves as
