Morry Mason acquired the company in 194o while acting as the Architectural Engineer for Taylor Construction. Morry began by building some of Miami's legendary hotels, including the Fontainebleau, Eden Roc, Savoy, Raleigh and Delano. Morry worked with Morris Lapidus in establishing the foundation for the Art Deco design for which South Miami Beach became famous. In 1954, Morry came to Las Vegas to build the Riviera Hotel. Ten years later, he moved Taylor International to Las Vegas and it has been the permanent home of Taylor International and the Mason family ever since. These photographs must provide a comprehensive description of the completed work. They should be the same views as the before photographs included in the Preconstruction Application (Part I), The final recommendations of the Historic Preservation Division with respect to the requested historic property tax exemption is made on the basis of the descriptions in this Request for Review of Completed Work.
