Per the applicable provisions of Miami 21 and Florida Law, I as a City Commissioner am
disclosing that on October 27 and November 2, 2016, I engaged in teleconferences with Adis
Vila, a neighbor involved in this quasi-judicial hearing; on November 9, 2016, I conducted an
investigation and site visit as allowed by law, accompanied by Ms. Vila; and on December 13,
2016, I met with Ms. Vila and Jackie Vidal, interested parties involved in this quasi-judicial
hearing. The subject of these meetings was the following: the application by Ovidio and
Iluminada Carrera to change the land use designation at 2610 SW 14th Street and 2611 SW 15th
Street from "Single Family Residential" to "Low Density Restricted Commercial," and to change
the zoning designation of the aforementioned properties from T3-R "Sub -Urban Restricted" to
T4-L "Urban General Zone -Limited." Such persons having contrary views to those expressed in
the following disclosure will now be given an opportunity to refute or respond to the foregoing
communication(s) or ask for a reset of this hearing in order to prepare a proper response. This
procedure complies with F.S. 286.0015.
