PLEASE ALL TAKE NOTICE THAT a meeting of the City of Miami Commission
has been scheduled for Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the City of Miami City Hall,
3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida 33133. A private attorney -client
session will be conducted under the parameters of §286.011(8), F.S. The
person chairing the City of Miami Commission meeting will announce the
commencement of an attomey-client session, closed to the public, for purposes of
discussing the pending litigation case of 1000 Brickell, Ltd., f/k/a 1000
Brickell, Inc., and Kai Properties, Ltd. v. City of Miami, Case No. 14-11755
CA 23, pending in the Circuit Court of the 11th Judicial Circuit in and for
Miami -Dade County, Florida, to which the City is presently a party. This
private meeting will begin at approximately 3:00 p.m. (or as soon thereafter
as the Commissioners' schedules permit) and conclude approximately one hour
later. The session will be attended by the members of the City Commission:
Chairman Keon Hardemon, Vice -Chairman -Ken Russell, and Commissioners
Wifredo "Willy" Gort, Frank Carollo, and Francis X. Suarez; the City Manager,

The Miami City Commission wit hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 13,
2017 at 9:00 AM, to consider the award of a contract to the non-profit
organization listed below through Anti -Poverty grant funds from the District
4 share of the City of Miami's Anti -Poverty Initiative Program. Miami Bridge
Youth and Family Services, Inc. strives to promote positive youth development,
and strengthen and support families to enable children to actualize their full
potential to become productive community members; secondly, to consider the
City Manager's recommendations and finding that competitive negotiation
methods are not practicable or advantageous regarding these issues:
• Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services, Inc. - General program
funding.

This action is being considered pursuant to Section 18-85 (A) of the Code
