RECOMMENDATION:
Based on the findings below, the Procurement Department (Procurement) hereby recommends
approval of the award, pursuant to Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 623383, for Rifles and Accessories for
Police to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Lawmen's and Shooters' Supply, Inc.
Contract Number/Title: IFB No. 623383, Rifles and Accessories for Police
Contract Amount: $101,332.64
Contract Term: One time purchase
Recommended Vendor: Lawmen's and Shooters' Supply, Inc.
BACKGROUND:
On June 21, 2016, Procurement issued IFB No. 623383, under full and open competition to obtain
bids from qualified vendors. As required by the Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised and
issued online. On July 6, 2016, four (4) bids were received and tabulated following the guidelines
published in the IFB.
