WHEREAS, The Department of Real Estate and Asset Management ("DREAM") has a need for the provision of General Appraisal Services; and WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") issued Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") No. 498330 seeking experienced and qualified proposers for the purpose of providing General Appraisal Services; and WHEREAS, the City's Review Team recommended four (4) Pre -qualified Proposers identified on "Attachment 1", attached and incorporated ("General Appraisal Firms"), for the provision of General Appraisal Services; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to authorize the City Manager to execute Professional Services Agreement(s) ("PSA"'), in substantially the attached form, on an as - needed basis, for an initial term of two (2) years with the option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year periods; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The proposals received May 31, 2016, pursuant to RFQ No. 498330 from the General Appraisal Firms, for the provision of General Appraisal Services for DREAM, for an initial period of two (2) years, with the option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year periods are accepted. Section 3. Funds to be allocated from the end -user department subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval at time of need. Section 4. The City Manager is authorized' to execute PSA's, in substantially the attached form, with the General Appraisal Firms. Section 5. The City Manager is further authorized to execute and negotiate all other documents, including amendments, extensions and modifications, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, for said purpose. Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.2 APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: ndez, City Attor ey 1 The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code provisions. 2 This Resolution shall become effective as specified herein unless vetoed by the Mayor within (10) calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
