The purpose of this request is that our company - Oliviya Baker Academy Corp and existing business with over 75 to 100 students have been in battle with the City of Miami Zoning Department, City of Miami Code Enforcement Department, City of Miami Manager Office and several other City of Miami offices in reference to the Zoning Department refusal to issue to us our CU that we applied for since the year of 2013 and as of today, 2016, we do not have our CU for the property of 430 NW 9th street. We applied for the CU as per the laws of the Clty 2 of Miami, we followed the laws of the City of Miami in processing and paying for the CU application. The City of Miami Zoning Department are refusing to issue the CU. We have found that the Zoning Department did not follow the policies and procedures as outlined in their rules of the Business Solutions Manual. Therefore we are requesting to stand before the Miami Commissioners pertaining to the Zoning Department not following the policies and procedures outlined in the rules of their Business Solution Manual. The unlawful practices that have occurred by the City of Miami Zoning Department and the support the Zoning Department has received from the City of Miami Manager Department and City of Miami Building and Zoning Department, Code Enforcement Department needs to be addressed. We had to stop our business operation at that location losing an estimated of $700,000. 00 or more dollars because the Zoning Department of the City of Miami did not abide by the laws of the City of Miami Business Solution explicitly outlined in writing. In a meeting with the City of Miami Manager on August 4, 2016, Mr. Daniel Alfonso, we shared our issue with him in front of several of his staff. He stated the following (being recorded) "you should suit the City of Miami because we have great lawyers!" Mr. Francisco of the Building Department of the City of Miami stated in the August 4, 2016 meeting, "We made a simple mistake, so accept it!" Oliviya Baker Academy, Corp is requesting a letter from the City of Miami Zoning Department acknowledging the City of Miami Zoning Department not abiding by or following the policies and the procedures of the City of Miami Statutes pertaining to the CU for the property of 430 NW 9th street. Oliviya Baker's Academy, Corp needs its CU from 2013 which we paid for designated for an elementary, middle and Junior High School at the property of 430 NW 9th street. We need our CU updated from 2013-2016 designated for an elementary, middle and Junior High School. We have experienced serious financial stagnation due to the City of Miami negligence in following the policies and procedures and the laws of the City of Miami. If your office needs documentations, please contact us. Sincerely, Mrs. Louise Baker. I can be reached at 786-879-6614. We Remain. 3
