FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Miami City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at 9:00 AM, to consider the award of an agreement in the amount of $53,000.00 to the Belafonte Tacolcy Center, Inc., a Florida not -for -profit corpo- ration ("Tacolcy"), for the Summer Read Program at the City of Miami's Bela- fonte Tacolcy Park, for the summer 2016 agreement period. This agreement serves to provide children in the community with reading and math instruction, as well as other educational and recreational programming, and shall positively influence the surrounding community through educational outreach. The Pub- lic Hearing shall consider the City Manager's recommendations and finding that competitive negotiation methods are not practicable or advantageous regarding the award of this agreement. This action is being considered pursuant to Section 18-86(3)(c) (services relat- ed to educational and/or cultural activities provided by non-profit organizations within City parks) of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida as amended (the "Code").
