Subject: City of Miami Commission Meeting --- Thursday, May 12, 2016
Mr. Hannon,
Hello. I am writing to you at the request of William Talbert, President & CEO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors
Bureau. There is a City of Miami Commission Meeting scheduled on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Mr. Talbert is requesting
time on this agenda to make a presentation on the State of the Travel and Tourism Industry. Mr. Talbert does this every
year during National Travel and Tourism Week/Month. All he needs is 15 minutes on the agenda.
During Mr. Talbert's presentation, he will present a plaque to thank the City of Miami for its support. In turn, the City of
Miami gives us a proclamation stating that. May is National Tourism Month. To help in drafting the proclamation, below
are some facts.
