A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, ACCEPTING THE BID
RECEIVED OCTOBER 7, 2015, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BID ("IFB") NO.
522382, FROM ENTERPRISE LEASING COMPANY OF FLORIDA, LLC, THE SOLE
RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER, FOR THE RENTAL OF VEHICLES,
ON A CITYWIDE, AS NEEDED CONTRACTUAL BASIS, FOR AN INITIAL PERIOD
OF TWO (2) YEARS, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL
ONE (1) YEAR PERIODS, ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE VARIOUS SOURCES
OF FUNDS FROM THE USER DEPARTMENT AND AGENCIES, SUBJECT TO THE
AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED;
FURTHER AUTHORIZING, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE IFB, THE ABILITY TO ADD
QUALIFIED SUPPLIERS TO THE CONTRACT WHEN DEEMED IN THE BEST
INTEREST OF THE CITY OF MIAMI WITHOUT FURTHER CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZATION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received October 7, 2015, pursuant to Invitation for Bid ("IFB") No. 522382,
from Enterprise Leasing Company of Florida, LLC, the sole responsive and responsible bidder, for the
rental of vehicles, on a citywide, as needed contractual basis, for an initial period of two (2) years,
with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods, is accepted, with funds allocated
from the various sources of funds from the user department and agencies, subject to the availability
of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need.
Section 2. The addition of qualified suppliers to the contract, in accordance with the IFB, when
deemed in the best interest of the City of Miami, is authorized, without further City Commission
authorization.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} This Resolution shall become effective as specified herein unless vetoed by the Mayor with ten
(10) calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it
shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
