D''ctor Capital Improveme s and Tr-nsportation Program ENCLOSURES: Notice of Public Hearing Please make arrangements to publish the attached Notice of Public Hearing regarding the City of Miami's intent to accept an additional contribution of funds in the amount of $350,000 from the Downtown Development Authority in connection with the Downtown Miami Signage and Wayfinding System, Project B-30941. A 10 day notice is sufficient and we would like the item to be heard on December 10, 2015. The date and time of the public hearing will beP�:e nLeA- / 7, /fit Anna Medina Agenda Coordinator CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on December 10, 2015 at 9:00 AM at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of granting the following: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO, 1 TO THE JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT DATED OCTOBER 18, 2013, EXECUTED BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI ("CITY") AND THE MIAMI DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY ("DDA"), FOR THE DOWNTOWN MIAMI SIGNAGE AND WAYFINDING SYSTEM ("PROJECT"), IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, ACCEPTING AN ADDITIONAL CONTRIBUTION OF FUNDS FROM THE DDA IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $350,000.00, FOR A TOTAL DDA CONTRIBUTION TO THE PROJECT OF $500,000.00. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning these items. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon any appeal may be based.
