A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ACCEPTING AND ADOPTING THE AMENDED BUDGET OF THE MIDTOWN
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ("MIDTOWN CRA"), ATTACHED AND
INCORPORATED AS EXHIBIT "A," FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING
OCTOBER 1, 2015 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2016 ("AMENDED BUDGET"),
AS APPROVED BY THE MIDTOWN CRA'S BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS.
WHEREAS, Article III, paragraph D of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement, dated June 30,
2005, between the City of Miami ("City"), the Midtown Community Redevelopment Agency ("Midtown
CRA"), and Miami -Dade County requires that the Midtown CRA submit its budget to the City; and
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 Budget of the Midtown CRA ("Budget") was approved
by the Midtown CRA's Board of Commissioners on September 10, 2015 pursuant to Resolution
MCRA-R-15-0002 and by the City Commission on September 10, 2015 pursuant to Resolution
R-15-0388; and
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 amended Budget ("Amended Budget") of the Midtown
CRA was approved by the Midtown CRA's Board of Commissioners on September 8, 2016 pursuant
to Resolution MCRA-R-16-0001; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to approve said Amended Budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Amended Budget of the Midtown CRA, attached and incorporated as Exhibit
"A", for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2015, and ending September 30, 2016, as approved
by the Midtown CRA's Board of Commissioners, is accepted and approved.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor. {1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10)
calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
