SUPPORTING THE CREATION OF THE MANA-WYNWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT ("CDD") BY MIAMI WORLDCENTER GROUP, LLC.
Background Information:
A Development Agreement was approved in September 2016 to support the development of the area
known as "Mana-Wynwood SAP." Consistent with such agreement is the creation of a Community
Development District (authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes) by Mannigan Holdings,
LLC; Marcella Realty, LLC; Megan Realty, LLC; Melanie Holdings, LLC; Mizrachi Holdings, LLC;
Wynwood Holdings, LLC; 2294 NW 2 Avenue Property, LLC; Mapton Holdings, LLC; Malux
Realty, LLC; Milana Holdings, LLC; and Miller Reality, LLC. Part of that process requires the
municipality to provide an official statement of support. Additionally, as per F.S. 190, prior to the
filing of a petition with the County, the petitioner shall: "Pay a filing fee of $15,000 to the county, if
located within an unincorporated area, or to the municipality, if located within an incorporated
area.,." As such, payment of $15,000 is required as part of the process.
