Ricardo, the purpose of this email is to confirm our conversation today regarding the Cushman
school. As I mentioned, the School needs to increase the enrollment to 535 students over the
traffic operations plan (TOP) that you reviewed.
As I understand it, the increase in student population will not require a traffic study
(accumulation study) because the increase in the number of students will not create a
significant impact in terms of traffic generation.
However, the school will need to amend the TOP submittal and provide a plan based on the
road closure that was approved for the campus.
would appreciate your providing your confirmation as we will be proceeding to hearing before
the city commission this Thursday. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Greetings Board,
Arvi Balseiro (Cushman School CEO/Headmaster), copied, reached out to me to see if MIMO would support
Cushman with a necessary covenant reconciliation.
In 1991, the city and Cushman agreed to a max student number of 300; Cushman currently has 531
students. In order to move ahead with the new street vacation and auditorium (which we supported),
Cushman needs to office like its new student number and update the covenant.
So the question: do we support this? I am in support, given the fact that the school already has 500+
students, and there is no increase planned (plus, the campus is much larger now than in 1991).
If you agree, please reply with a YES or if you oppose, with a NO.
We need to provide Arvi a response by tomorrow, since the city meeting/hearing is Thursday, I believe. I will
draft-ourletterbased on board responses.
Thanks,
Shane
