ENCLOSURES: Please make arrangements to publish a Notice of Public Hearing for objections to the waiving of the requirements for formal sealed bids for the sole source provision of an AS350B2 aircraft from Airbus Helicopters, Inc. to be utilized for law enforcement purposes. Attached is the advertisement. The public hearing has been scheduled for May 12, 2016 Approved:�!�—'�.--� Anna Medina, Agenda Coordinator cc: Dr. Lydia Osborne, CPPO, CPPB, Assistant Director, Procurement Eduardo Falcon, Procurement Contracting Manager Attachment Date: '/.-..,/if( Page 1 of 1 CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on May 12, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of waiving the requirements of obtaining sealed bids to for the provision of an AS350B2 aircraft for the Police Department, at an estimated amount of $2.8 million, from Airbus Helicopters, Inc., located at 2701 N. Forum Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Inquiries from other potential sources of such a package who feel that they might be able to satisfy the City's requirements for this item may contact Anthony Hansen, Senior Procurement Contracting Officer, at the City of Miami Procurement Department at (305) 416-1895. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning such proposed acquisition. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S.286.0105). In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City Clerk at (305) 250-5361 (Voice) no later than five (5) business days prior to the proceeding.
