Subject: An Ordinance amending Chapter 13/ Article I of the City Code - Development Impact and
Other Related Fees
Purpose of Item:
To amend Chapter 13 / Article I of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida entitled "Development
Impact and Other Related Fees" by amending Section 13-16 entitled "Administrative Procedures for
Petitions for Impact Fee Determinations and Affordable Housing and Workforce Housing Deferrals,
Refunds and Credits," and to eliminate references to the Chief of Operations and substitute Manager's
Designee.
Background Information:
It is the purpose and intent to clarify language and further make administrative changes to the review
process to facilitate petitions for an impact fee determination concerning affordable housing or
workforce housing; including impact fee deferral refund and impact fees and/or credits against impact
fees.
