A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
REAPPOINTING THEODORE ("TED") GUBAAS THE INDEPENDENT AUDITOR
GENERAL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, FOR A FOUR (4) YEAR PERIOD
COMMENCING ON MAY 7, 2016, AND SETTING THE SALARY AND BENEFITS TO
BE RECEIVED.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 48 of the Charter of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, the
City Commission is obligated to elect and appoint an Independent Auditor General; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12-0115, adopted March 22, 2012, the City Commission
voted to select Theodore ("Ted") Guba as the successful candidate to be appointed as Independent
Auditor General of the City of Miami, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to reappoint Ted Guba as the Independent Auditor
General for a four (4) year period commencing on May 7, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the salary and benefits to be received by Ted Guba, as Independent Auditor General,
are listed on "Attachment No. 1," attached and incorporated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. Ted Guba is reappointed as the Independent Auditor General of the City of Miami,
Florida, for a four-year period, commencing on May 7, 2016, with the salary and benefits to be
received by Ted Guba, as Independent Auditor General, listed on "Attachment No. 1," attached and
incorporated.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
THIS ADMINISTRATIVE ACT SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
