RECOMMENDATION:
Based on the findings below, the Procurement Department (Procurement) hereby recommends
award for Professional Interpreting and Translation Services to the following responsive and
responsible bidders for Invitation for Bid (IFB) 526981: Interpreters Unlimited, Inc.; Professional
Translating Services, Inc. dba Protranslating LLC; Linguistica International Inc.; Lingua Franca
Translations, LLC; Dreams Innovators, Inc.; and Fox Medical Case Management, PC, dba Fox
Translation Services, Additional vendors may be added to the contract as deemed in the best
interest of the City of Miami.
Contract Number/Title: IFB 526381, Invitation for Bid for Professional Interpreting and
Translation Services - Citywide
Contract Amount: Approximately $50,000 annually, depending the City's needs.
Estimated to be $250,000 over the five (5) year term of the contract.
Contract Term: Initial term for a period of two (2) years, with the option to renew for
three (3) additional one (1) year periods
Recommended Vendors: Vendors were awarded by Group as Primary, Secondary, and
Tertiary based on their ranking following the tabulation (see attached).

BACKGROUND:
On November 2, 2015, Procurement issued IFB No. 526381, under full and open competition. As
required by the Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised and issued online. Seven (7) bids
were received and tabulated following the guidelines directed in the IFB.
