Purpose of Item: A Resolution of the Miami City Commission, with attachment(s), authorizing the City Manager to accept, pursuant to a Special Warranty Deed, the donation of a parcel of land from PRH NE 31st Street LLC and THIRTY-FIRST STREET PROPERTY OWNER LLC, ("Grantor"), identified as portions of Folio Nos. 01-3230-012-0060 and 01-3230-095-0001 located at approximately NE 32nd Street and NE 7th Avenue, as more particularly described in Exhibit "A" ("Property"), to The City of Miami ("City"); the Grantor will cover all costs associated with the transfer of the property, including but not limited to the survey, environmental report, title insurance and closing costs; further authorizing the City Manager to execute any necessary documents, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney in order to effectuate said conveyance. Director City Manager Purchasing N/A Assistant City Manager Page 1 of 2 SUPPLEMENTAL PAGE Subject: Resolution accepting property conveyed to the City of Miami by PHR NE 31st Street, LLC and THIRTY-FIRST STREET PROPERTY OWNER LLC, identified as portions of Folio Nos, 01-3230-012- 0060 and 01-3230-095-0001 located at approximately NE 32' Street and NE 7th Avenue. Background Information: PRH NE 31st Street LLC and THIRTY-FIRST STREET PROPERTY OWNER LLC ("Grantor") own the property identified as portions of Folio Nos. 01-3230-012-0060 and 01-3230-095-0001 located at approximately NE 32"d Street and NE 7th Avenue, Miami, Florida. The Grantor intends to construct and develop a high-rise condominium with recreational amenities on the Grantor's property known as Paraiso Bay ("Condominium"). The Grantor agreed to dedicate to the City, land adjacent to the Grantor's property to be solely used and enjoyed as a park and has agreed to maintain said park in perpetuity. The City's Department of Parks recognizes the need for parks in the community and recommends the acceptance of the conveyance. Page 2 of 2
