Background Information:
Due to the continuous decrease of available Community Development Block Grant funds in the last
few years, Public Services agencies' allocations have been reduced resulting in reduction of services
to residents.
The City Commission wishes to allocate funding to cover public service program shortfalls for fiscal
year 2016-2017 from the Social Services Gap Program, Account No. 00001.910101.882000.
The City Commission recommends the allocation of funds from the Social Services Gap Program, in
the total amount of $743,000 to the agencies as specified in Attachment "A", attached and
incorporated.
