Subject: A resolution accepting the proposed plat of MIAMI WORLDCENTER PLAT 2 located
between North Miami Avenue and NE 1 Avenue, and between NE 8 Street and the Florida East Coast
Railway right of way.
Purpose of Item:
Resolution of the Miami City Commission accepting the final plat of MIAMI WORLDCENTER PLAT 2 from
Miami First, LLC; Miami Third, LLC; Miami Fourth, LLC; and Miami A/I, LLC; authorizing the City
Manager to execute the related documents for the recordation of the plat and approving recording the same in
the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida.
Background Information:
The Plat and Street Committee established per Miami City Code Section 55-1, and composed of the
Departments of Public Works, Planning, Building, office of Zoning, Police, Fire -Rescue, and Solid Waste, with
representation of the Law Department, has reviewed the Tentative Plat and determined its conformance to the
subdivision regulations of Chapter 55, and Miami21 Zoning Regulations.. The Department of Public Works has
reviewed the final plat and has determined that it is now in order for acceptance by the Miami City
Commission. The specific intent of this plat is to close the right of way of NE 7 Street within the proposed plat
and to create one (1) contiguous tract of land for development in conformance with the Miami 21 Zoning Code,
Appendix D - Miami Worldcenter.
The proposed plat entitled MIAMI WORLDCENTER PLAT 2 is a replat of the property described in the legal
description shown as Attachment 1. The platted area consists of approximately 209,564 square feet (4.810 f
acres) as depicted in Exhibits B and C. This plat was approved under Miami 21 zoning designation, Appendix
D — Miami Worldcenter.
