Subject: Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an Amendment to the Revocable License
Agreement with The Center for Haitian Studies, Inc.
Background Information:
The City of Miami ("City") owns a trailer on the property located at 185 Northeast 82nd Terrace, Miami,
Florida ("Property"), which is adjacent to the Licensee's property.
The City Commission adopted Resolution 03-346 at its April 10, 2003 meeting authorizing the City Manager to
execute a Revocable License Agreement with the Center for Haitian Studies, to provide parking for the
employees and visitors of Licensee.
The Licensee provides free clinical services to the public.
The Licensee currently licenses 20,630 square feet of the City -owned property and would like to refurbish and
utilize the trailer left on the premises by the City of Miami Fire Department for additional space to provide
clinical services to the community.
The City does not require use of the trailer, and the City of Miami Fire Department vacated the trailer and
transferred the trailer to the Department of Real Estate and Asset Management.
