Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to accept a grant from the Miami — Dade County
Department of Human Services Meals for the Elderly Program, awarding in -kind Title III-C meals
valued at $207,480.00 for the Meals for the Elderly Program at Hadley Park, further authorizing the
City Manager to negotiate and execute agreements and all related necessary amendments, extensions
and modifications.
Background Information:
The Department of Parks and Recreation has been awarded a grant from the Miami -Dade County
Department of Human Services Meals for the Elderly Program, of in -kind Title III-C meals valued at
$207,480.00, to provide nutritious meals to the participants of the Hadley Meals for the Elderly
Program. This Resolution accepts the grant and further authorizes the City Manager to execute all of
the documents necessary to accept the award.
